  1. ASTR_ST is Asteroidia ST for all ST/STe/TT/Mega STe users, by David
  2. Munsie.  This is one of those "must have" games.  It's the best
  3. Asteroids style game I've ever seen.  If you don't know what that is
  4. I'll tell you (I'll tell you anyway!).  You fly around in near-Earth
  5. space trying to destroy all the asteroids that are heading towards
  6. home.  You'll also have to contend with little alien thingys that want
  7. to destroy your ship!  Zap them all with your energy cannon.  The
  8. rotating 3D asteroids are astounding and the debris when you blast
  9. them are cool (and sometimes dangerous!).  The sound effects are
  10. excellent (and on the 2 meg+ STE/TT you can use the separate ASTR_DMA
  11. file to get even better sound) and the background picture of the earth
  12. is beautiful.  This takes advantage of my accelerated STE for faster
  13. and smoother play, and exits cleanly back to the desktop.  STE owners
  14. can use the Jaguar joypad for control, everyone else uses the standard
  15. joystick (note:  if you are using the joystick don't select the
  16. Joystick/Joypad option or you won't be able to do anything on the
  17. computer until you re-boot).  Shareware with docs and registration
  18. information included.  Until you register you only get one life per
  19. game.  Any color res..  I recommend this game!
